Mallinckrodt in the Park is a re-adaptive use of a north shore vintage five story building that was originally built in 1912 for the Sisters of Charity. The project consists of an 81-unit condominium building with detached heated 40,000 sq. ft. underground parking garage. 7,500 sq. ft. in the south wing first floor level is utilized by the Wilmette Park District as a recreation center.

The site is approximately three acres and sits within the fourteen acre Mallinckrodt Park. Due to this being a re-adaptive use, the building exterior, all plaster ceilings, chapel columns, floor structure, roof trusses, roof, and structural bearing walls and members, were maintained and preserved. The building features include: balconies, indoor heated parking, 24 hr security desk, three full service elevators, one elevator servicing the garage access and a fully supervised fire suppression sprinkler system.
